EXCITING NEWS!!!

2 posts in one day is craziness I know.

but this may be the most exciting this i will ever post on this ole blog. and im probably going to have to sleep with one eye open tonight because I have a feeling Kim is going to be hatin' on me enough to stalk me down. but SORRY KIM I HAVE TO SAY IT!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, today I found out my heart rate zones are actually HIGHER than what I have been working out in for the past six months!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reasons why this is good:
1) I firmly believe its why I was getting wider and not narrower. I wasnt working out in my "fat burning zone". I jokingly told my BF that the past 6 months I have been working out has been the HR equivalent of me walking to the kitchen. To which he replied that maybe I should LAY OFF walking to the kitchen (imagine a Jerry Springer OHHHHHHHH, oh no he didnt!!! here).

2) Running is FUN again!!! I was giving up on this HR thing. I hated running because I literally had to WOG to stay in the zone I was supposed to be in. It was very, very discouraging. I went for a run today and I had to refrain from jumping up and clicking my heels in the air. Why? Because my NEW AND IMPROVED (aka correct) zone 1 pace is going to put me at about...45seconds-1min faster per mile. ZING! I will be like a BULLET running from those creepy men now!!!

3) I WONT GET FATTER! (this is a repeat but I think its important enough to get another number. and I didnt have anything else to add to the list that needs at least 3 facts)

the only downside is that biking is going to SEVERE now. like, real hard. Ive been doing 200 miles a week at a snails pace. Talk on the phone, eat a sandwich pace. Now I have to actually ride my bike. But now Ill get faster. And not be the laughingstock of QT2.

This news today has inspired me to go do things Ive been putting off for weeks. I dont care if you think its lame for this making me into a new woman, I am PUMPED!!!!!
