Im preparing for my final A+PIII class (after 4 months of anatomy I am FINISHED!), trying to study while completing a paper on the effects of massage before and after working out.
Amongst all that studying, I have ridden my bicycle for a whopping 1.5 hours. I will never curse a recovery week ever again!
We figured it was a good weekend to actually "go out", so we did. Normally we can't really stay out past 9 on Friday nights because Saturay morning is always a really long ride. If you dont wake up until 9 or 10, it literally takes all day. And youre cranky! So we went to Allston with BFF Hughes and his wife (MA) to see our friends band The Joshua Tree. I really, really love the band but the best part of Friday night was watching the groupies. One girl couldnt decide who to serenade while singing along (without knowing the words)--Mike or Joe? So she just alternated during the song. Full on: arms out, crooning. And then she went on to play Air Harmonica along with Mike and it pretty much made my night. That and the 60 yer old guy who goes to EVERY joshua tree show at Harpers Ferry and ALWAYS does this dance for the full 2hours they play, by himself, right next to the stage. So awesome.
So last night, after hitting the hay pretty early (10), I am awakened at midnight by kids yelling in the street and someone ringing our doorbell repeatedly and banging on the front door. I go downstairs, half-asleep and in my pajamas, to find a ridiculousl tall 15 year old. Looking for my brother. 1) my brother is 17 and doesnt have any 15 year old friends 2) this kid is like...in a tux. No jacket. At midnight, walking up our 3 mile long street. Sorted that all out (he was at a dance, in Hudson, didnt have a ride so him and his friends walked to our house. Because Door Knockers older brother is friends with my brother.) This sounds like something I would do as a teenager so I couldnt be too mad at them (payback, you know). However I was annoyed because I couldnt fall bak asleep.
And now I am awake getting ready to go to the TT.
