2010!

Okay, Im going to do it. Though I am not big on resolutions, this year I have 2. 1) is what i was referencing in that first sentence. Im going to update this blasted thing every day. EVERY DAY! With workouts, and food pictures, and hilarious tales of like working in a public school. and 2) Im going to buckle down on training. Because lets be serious, Hyannis is in less than 2 months! And Im doing Baystate Marathon come hell or high water (or in our case....poorness...which brings me to my next update:)

We are looking at houses. Yes, I said it. We are really doing it. What a NERVEWRACKING activity!! We got pre-approved for our mortgage, so we're okay on that, but the process of looking at houses, making offers, making sure theyre not trying to steal your money, is hard!! We keep making lists of questions to ask sellers (aka real estate agents). Sunday we are going to check one out in an adorable, small (4300people) town thats about 15 min away from here. Fantastic riding right out the front door, so we'll see!!

Wednesday Dawn and I headed into Boston to check out the museum of science's Harry Potter exhibit. It was an epic adventure. First of all, it took about an hour to find a parking spot in the Cambridgeside Galleria parking lot, because the MOS lot was FULL! (harry potter is kind of a big deal in these parts I guess....it was PACKED!). We saw multiple almost fights, one lady demolish the side of her BMW SUV to get a spot, and I got to pull Mandrakes out. (If you dont read/havent watched Harry Potter before, ignore the Mandrake part). I, however, did not get sorted by the hat. Unfortunately there were about 6437829 children under 11, diminishing my shot of getting to the front and being declared a Gryffindor.

Rung in the new year with my husband and dogs, watched The Hangover (ridiculously funny), ate homemade pizza and drank from Harpoon UFO's, it was perfect!

NICE! Good luck with the house hunting. Be sure NOT to over extend... it's great when you have time AND money in the bank to enjoy life, rather than busting your ass at work to pay the bills and miss out on the things you love!
Happy New Year to you and Coach Pat!
