it is currently raining, again.
yesterday was the expo, 1.5 hour drive there+8 hours with 3200 women+1.5 hour ride+1.5 hour drive home. i was soooo sleepy when i got home last night.
got home at 8:30 and then it was: smoothie, shower, sleep. in that order.
i forgot how hilly "western" (read: central) massachusetts is. brian put some damage on me on the second loop. we actually just did two loops of the webster lake tri course.
today, we woke up to kona having some umm...intestinal distress. this involved a trip to the vet and $1200 dollars. shes actually still there, IV'ed up and in the dog-ICU. hopefully shes okay and not scared. they have visiting hour at the pet hospital (i know, i know) so thats where il be from 5-6.
in other news my hip no longer hurts, i have done two 1.5 hour rides since that incident so maybe my bike stretches it out. either way, i need it to stop thundering+lightning like crazy out because id like to get a few miles in.
dinner tonight is turkey burgers and edamame. thats my new core diet approved fallback meal.
(to get me motivated to return to being a lean mean running machine [or, to hold me accountable], i am emailing my weight every monday to The Guru. believe me, you do not want to disappoint him, because he'll tell you when youre getting fat!)
anyways, my new thing is edamame. fresh peas from the farmstand re my favorite food, ever. and edamame is the closest thing i can get in late summer, so ive been eating a lot of it. that, and my cottage cheese/yogurt/strawberry smoothie.
okay enough my allergies are acting up and i am parched. and i need to stop being a geek and get off the computer!!
